Work With Me

Some of my work is research. The rest is practical: helping teams get ML, data, and automation working inside a real business. This page is about the practical side.

Right now that means two things. I am a Business Transformation Consultant with Quandatics, a data and AI consultancy, working on process enhancement and automation with their Business Transformation Office. And I am a Data Science & Machine Learning Trainer with Quandatics Academy, where I currently coach a telecommunications analytics team. Earlier work took me through actuarial, insurance, and financial-services settings.

Things I can help with

• Getting ML out of the experiment stage — scoping the problem properly, building it, and staying around until it runs in production and someone actually uses it.
• Coaching an analytics team to build and own its own models. The coaching material grows out of the same notes and tutorials I publish here, like the MLOps tutorial.
• The unglamorous parts that decide whether any of it lasts: reproducibility, experiment tracking, deployment discipline, and process automation.
